Hooksett banner/Old Allenstown Meeting House article, 1992.

Article published in the Hooksett banner relating to the donation of the Old Allenstown Meeting House by the Daughters of the American Revolution to the State of New Hampshire in 1991. The meeting house, originally built by the First Christian Church in 1815 and completed 1817 was used for church services and public meetings until the property was transferred to the D.A.R. in 1908. Now a part of the Bear Brook State Park museum complex, its restoration is still ongoing.
